Not that bad, but it doesn't hold temperature very well. You might need a temperature gun so you dont over do it with the heat. It would still get the job done, if you know what you are doing.

Requires close monitoring.

Heat dial isn’t consistent at all.

This is a great peice of lab equipment. I would have to say one of my best lab purchases. Not sure why I waited so long to purchase. Saves time money and effort. Love it.

The temp control can be a little tricky to dial in, I use my infared thermometer to check the temp of the plate and make sure it stays constant before adjusting. The stirring feature works perfectly. An all around great value I'd recommend.

Works perfectly as described

Great for many applications..use an infrared thermometer for best results in maintaining temps..feel around..it takes getting used to..but great unit..good price

Very good value, great functions

Hours of endless entertainment.Pros:Its Heavy duty, works.Cons:stunk for a while when it was new, I just ran it outside for a few hours on high, that went away.the spinner motor rubbed a bit out of the box, I needed to adjust it a little so it would run quietly.the original spinner is a little weak, I purchased some new ones and they work better.Seems like the cons outweigh the pros but they don't, this thing is awesome and I love it. If it ever breaks I will replace it right away.
