Own apartments and was paying $71.00 to rent a similar machine every few months plus time picking up and returning. A no-brainer.

got this for use on rentals. already used it on a 4" mainline with feeder roots holding up TP. Not as heavy duty as the rental one, but I think it will work fine for my purposes.

Too heavy to handle

You must know what you are doing with this this will not clean your drain this will help you clean your drain you must know what you are doing and all these bad reviews I seen is is that for a reason because those people do not know what they are doing you have to use some kind of common sense with this machine and know how to use it remember everything is built from China and at your work do people mess up yes they do my advice is check every boit make sure it'all tighten up and you should have no problem this is machine is not for old person someone sharp with his hands and knows how to use do use it and you can use this machine with one person with no troubles

For the price this unit will work for most things, super nasty root issues might be an issue but just go slow. I do not understand all the negative reviews, and like the other reviewer, am pretty sure these are people that don't know how tools "work" and just used them wrong. I cleared 7 clogs this weekend, and had zero issues, even spooled the cable out all the way, and back in at least 15 times. The auto feed is a bit finnicky, but aren't they all? Impressed with the attachments as well, sure I used a couple of mine as well, but I could have done all 7 jobs with the included setup. If you have no experience using one of these machines, please, for the love of all that is proper, have a friend that does know how come by and teach you or at least watch like 10 hours of youtube videos otherwise you can seriously injure yourself or break your plumbing or the machine in no time flat...

This knock-off of a drain cleaner is truly a pile of junk, save your self a lot of anger and rent a decent one or buy a quality one.
