Amazing Sauna Heater. No regrets buying
Excellent product. Works and heats much better than I thought it would. Thermostat seems to be off by 15°. Shows lower temp then actual. Controller was very difficult to install and required some rigging. Not me to American standards. Terminal screws smaller then proper gauge wire that’s needed. Presented some difficulties wiring. But once fully installed it’s an incredible heater that I would recommend to my friends.

Works Great!
Installed this sauna heater per the installation manual and wiring diagram so, from the get go I had NO issues with the unit over heating or smoking or just not working correctly. I have been using this unit for 20 days sometimes 2 times a day for a max of 1 hour 30mins each time I use it. This unit works perfectly for the size of my sauna, 4 feet long by 4 feet wide by 8 feet tall and it heats up to 160 F in a bout 20 mins. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone that has sauna close to the same size as my sauna for the price I paid for this unit. Just make sure you have an electrician or you know what you are doing!!

Right product. Wrong directions
Works great. Had to break off the little metal rack for holding the rocks. Dont hook it up to 220 like the directions say. You will fry the relay. Wire one hot line to N the other to L1. Dont use a ground or neutral wire.

Decent
Have been using sauna stove for a few months now. Works great, only problem I had was the clip that holds one of the knobs from spinning all the way around broke the first time I used it.

Vevor 6kw Sauna 220v
After talking to several electrician friends and scouring the internet looking for how to wire this thing 220-240v. I finally came to the consensus that the Schematic in the manual and on the Panel were wrong for 220-240v wiring of the unit. What is labeled as the 220V hook up is actually the 120v hook up. After getting it hooked up in a test spot in my garage I let it burn the stuff off the coils, it smoked for about a minute or two and then quit. Then I moved it to the sauna and put rocks in it and fired it up again. Only used twice so far but it has helped in quickly heating up our infrared sauna. I did reach out to VEVOR by email directly from finding their webpage via Amazon but have not heard back from them.

Poor designed outer casing
The outer casing ( heat shield ) is very thin and is only supported by 2 brackets in the back. The unit arrived bent because of the limited brackets and poor packaging. Over all I'm happy with this product because it does what it was intended to do. It heat up my sauna to 140 degrees in 5 minutes and 170 in 15.

Perfect!!!!!!
So far an excellent purchase considering the price difference to some of the well known names! Maybe in the long run the more expensive will hold up longer due to quality of metals but then again maybe not! Can purchase 3 to 4 of these to match the price of 1.... A no brainer !!!! After all there is not much to a heating unit, elements, timer and thermo and relays. Easy to install with basic electricity knowledge, wires 220v, 2 hots and a neutral or ground, have read other reviews stating issues about wiring, its pretty basic!!!! 4x4x7 sauna 200 degrees in 20 mins but did go with a larger unit, don't won't to wait for warm up period and wanted at least 200 degrees.

Review from an Engineer
The heater is a very simple design. The heater has three heating elements wired in parallel. I measured the resistance of the heating elements to make sure it was truly a 6KVA unit. The heating elements are wired into a mechanical contactor allowing the heating elements to be switched on and off. The contactor is switched on by energizing the coil through the timer and thermostat. The thermocouple for the thermostat is in the body of the heater. All wiring is connected to terminal rail that have jumpers on them allowing different voltage configurations. The body of the heater is just bent 23 gauge stainless steel sheet metal with two brackets allowing it to be bolted to a wall. The outside of the sheet metal has some cosmetic issues with scratches. The thermocouple for the thermostat is in a position where you may get excessive cycling of the contactor making it take longer to heat up a bigger room (or not well insulated). The mechanical contactor is only rated for a certain number of cycles but its probably not much of an issue considering how often its going to be on. If anyone has issues with it cycling too much I would move the thermocouple. If you have enough electrical know-how, buy a 60min fan timer than turns on a relay wired in parallel with the existing timer. This way they are both functional and you do not have to buy some expensive kit. I am going to add an additional emergency stop and contactor in series with the existing contactor for some additional safety.Overall it’s a decent product for the price.
