Purchased to aid senior congregation members going up one step to access raised altar area inside church. These rails are more \"robust\" than anticipated and a welcome safety addition. Totally satisfied. Only down side is wishing there were white caps to cover screws as rails are installed indoors... hardware was painted white and now blends perfectly.

I can't recommend these enough if you're in need of super sturdy, do-it-your-self railings! As a 50+ year old female with only basic construction knowledge, I was able to install 2 of these myself. The kit has everything you need except for basic tools you probably already own and a 10mm drill bit. Drilling into concrete was the hardest part because I didn't want to buy a specialized drill for one job (used the cheap household one I already had), but with a quality drill bit & persistence, I was able to get all of the holes ready. At the landing, it was much easier because the material was Trex decking. Correct hole placement and sizing was key, and once that's done it's just a matter of getting all the bolts installed (a ratchet wrench helped for that). I get a lot of compliments and everyone thinks they must have been a lot more expensive because of how substantial and sturdy they are!

These handrails are surprisingly strong and worked great for the steps at my church. The price was especially good, shipment was fast and quality was excellent. That is why I am back here now.

Great rail. I did have to purchase better concrete bolts that were easier to install than the ones supplied.

Product was very well made, heavy-duty and strong enough to support a horse! My son installed it. He had to purchase a concrete drill but he’s quite handy and will use that in the future. He and his friend were impressed with the quality of the hand rail.

These railings are very good. I wish the directions had words on them however. I have purchased these several times and have kind of figured out how they work. I'm still left with eight screws at the end for some reason and I don't know what those are for. The directions are only diagrams so I have nothing to refer to. Plus the last two I purchased I had to trim and drill the railings on the side to make them fit. Overall a very good product except for those few items.
