It worked. After I fixed it.
As you will learn in the video, it was missing 2 bolts to hold the gear assembly to the cross bar.I will also go out and buy lock washers because during use the bolts that hold the gear assembly loosened completely and threw the nut into a hive frame. Also after this first use, I had one of the knobs on the acrylic cover snap and almost cut me as it is cheap metal.Go buy real cabinet knobs to replace the chinsey, fragile, sharp metal when shattered knobs.Otherwise it performed as needed.

great budget extractor
easy assembly. Even bolted to ground shakes badly but worked great.

Great work out for your arms!
Okay this is not a premium spinner. It’s more for a person with only one or two hives. It works great, does what it says it will, and not that hard to clean.

Worked well
We did have to screw the legs into 2 - 2x4 boards and stand on them while spinning for stability. Could use a clamping system to keep the top on, but did what I needed it to do.

Great for the price, be prepared to do some work to get it functional, though
Found it usable. I was worried reading other reviews that the crank was weak, and it does grind a bit in one direction. I've extracted two 7 frame medium supers so far in two sessions, and it's holding up. It is sturdy enough (bolted to a plywood base) that I spun one full medium frame by itself (7 is not divisible by 3), and it didn't self-destruct.The tub was quite clean and shiny, but the cage for the frames was sloppily welded, covered in weld splatter and some nasty powdery gunk. It took a lot of elbow grease and brillo to clean it up to a food-safe condition. In removing the cage, I did learn that the central axle rotates in a cup welded to the bottom of the tub. It was filled with black grease of questionable provenance, which I washed out. I only just noticed a ball bearing in the grease, which is what the axle rotates on, before losing it in the grass. Somehow I found it again, replaced it and lubricated it with a dab of coconut oil, which was the only food grease I had around, which worked fine.

It's fine
I harvested honey with this extractor 4 times this season and had no problems. Yes, it wobbles something fierce, but that's to be expected unless you're somehow able to make sure each of your frames is the exact same weight. It's a 2-person process- 1 to turn the crank and hang on and another to help hold it steady and make sure the honey gate stays over the bucket. Tighten the bolts each time you go to use it because they do tend to loosen. This is a perfectly fine extractor for a reasonable price and it meets my needs in managing 3 backyard hives.

This honey extractor is awesome!
I received this honey extractor earlier than the delivery date. It was easy to put the extractor together and it was well built. It held 3 frames great. The extractor worked well and got all my honey out of the frames like it wassuppose to. I would definitely recommend this honey extractor!

Beekeeper
This is my first year as a beekeeper and I have one hive. I started with a nuc in mid-May and was able to harvest 7 super frames 10 weeks after I started. I knew I wanted to invest in my own equipment rather than borrow from someone. I also know that I plan on having a maximum of 3 hives at some point, so I didn't see the need for an electric extractor. The 3 frame manual extractor from Vevor was just what I was looking for. It's very easy to use, easy to take apart for cleaning, and easy to put back together until next use. We did build a wooden base and bolted the legs down after finding out it doesn't take a lot of spinning before the unit is "walking" around. The unit arrived when promised and was packed in a professional manner. I'm very happy with this purchase!
