So, everything works perfectly. The one thing is that you still have to turn it on at the base so would have to get a ladder out to do that but then operating works well from remote. Maybe it's safe to leave the power on all the time but don't feel safe doing so. Remote should have the power on it.

This was super easy to use. We had 60+ bales to move before it rained in 2 different barns. Everything moved smoothly and the hay was stacked in time. The device is heavy (I'm 70 year old lady) but once it is secured on a beam the remote worked as planned. Definitely recommend this.

So far so good. Easy set up, haven't used it except to make sure it was working. A few have mentioned the control coming out of the hoist. That was good that it was mentioned, I zip tied my control cable to the winch itself so pulling on it wouldn't create the strain caused by constant pulling. I did the same for the power cable. If you have a question regarding what I meant, I can post a photo of the winch.

We purchased the winch to pull our dock out of the water. Our dock needs to be placed up hill. It works great for pulling the dock up the hill in the fall and slowly lowering it down in the spring.

Works perfect with the wired cable and hand controls. Although the remote works the delay could make it dangers when rigging. I'd buy it again.
