It makes sanding fast with great results. The loudness/rattle would make me concerned of the longevity of the sander. Bought the machine for a small room addition due to help not showing up/save labor and it more than helped me save money.
Wow, hooked this up with my Fein shop vac and takes the mud off the wall right now. A little heavy but I choke up on the handle. I'm a weak old man. You robust men would have no trouble with the weight of it.
I used this machine to sand the ceiling after the removal of the popcorn style ceiling and not only did it do a great job smoothing the ceiling but it minimized the amount of dust. I highly recommend it.
