Super heavy, not sure the $300+ ones would work any better. Save your money and buy this one.

Replaced a factory g80 with the Yukon limited slip and it's great! Snow traction is unbelievable and so far has been very functional! I like that its always engaged, unlike the g80 which requires wheel spinning before it will engage. A very good product! RT

Used for re-gearing my Jeep JK. As expected, it is big and heavy to accommodate all housings up to DANA 80. Anyone expecting it to be small and light needs to realize it is made to spread steel cast housings. I wouldn't take anything wimpier. Worked as it should with minimal effort. Steel is good and the welds are good. Not sure how it will work on anything bigger than DANA 44, but for what I used it, it was perfectly fine. It is a must, IMHO, if you are removing and installing a differential carrier PROPERLY.

Purchased this for my husband, he is able to work on our vehicles and changed the differential in both of our vehicles. Works great and helped him with disassembling the differential.

Its heavy duty that's for sure. I don't see difference between this item and the otc brand. Its a fraction of the cost of otc yet well built I don't see how u can break it.
