I purchased this set for home use on a new lathe. I took a stab at this set since it had many more sizes than other sets. When it arrived, I found each piece to be shrink wrapped in its own marked container. The size is on each container and also laser etched into the face of each collet. I found no grit, no burrs or machine mistakes, so I was impressed. The finish on each is polished and there were no sharp edges, that was even better! Overall, I wasn't sure what I was going to really get for this price, but I've used 3 already and can't complain. In fact, I don't usually write reviews, but, because I found reviews helpful in making decisions on unknowns or new tools, I felt this set of collets was worthy of posting as they appear to be better quality at a very reasonable price.

Worth every dollar. These are excellent collets. We use these in our aerospace tooling job shop.

I have been using these on my Atlas 12” lathe mostly with my milling attachment. So far they have performed well holding HSS drill bits and end mills. I can’t attest to the run out of every single Collet but of the ten or so that I have used, I have gotten good results (indicated one of them with an end mill can’t remember what I got but it was acceptable for a DIYer). I gave four stars because one time I used one of these collets (maybe the 3/8”) to hold a piece of aluminum while I drilled and tapped the end and after removing the work I was disappointed to see that the collet had formed a ring a couple thou deep in my part. There was obviously a bur on the collet where the face meets the bore. Now this is easily remedied and I cant complain because the runout appears to be good or atleast as good as my collet chuck can provide but a little frustrating when my part was already turned down to final OD. I would recommend especially at the price!

These collets are great! They hold tight and stay true; everything I need them to do. I'm looking at adding another set, because I use multiple ER32 collet chucks in my equipment. Definitely worth the money!

Quick shipped and well made.

This was my second attempt at buying a set of ER-32 collets on Amazon. My first try (a different brand) ended in a return due to crazy excessive runout. These OrangeA collets are keepers! The measured runout is just as advertised. There may be collets out there with virtually zero runout, but some of us will never be able to afford them. Of course having decent collets is only half of the equation, you must have an accurate collet chuck. My advice is to spend as much as you need to on a nice chuck, then buy these collets. I bought my collet chuck from a supplier who's initials are L.M.S.
