I used these in color blocks both four sided and six sided as well as in an R8 to ER 40 call it adapter for my milling machine at Wheat State welding LLC in Derby Kansas. The total indicated run out is very acceptable. These are packed in individual tooling containers the normal plastic time, and each color to shrink wrapped and covered with some kind of oil. The worst thing I can say about these is it took me about 10 minutes to unpack all 29 of them. Otherwise these are an awesome color set and I highly recommend to anybody that needs one at a decent price. These do not come with any kind of case or wooden box. You're on your own for that.

After waiting nearly a month for my collet chucks to arrive from China I was finally able to give these Collets a once over. My Chinese chucks tested to have 0.002" of run-out. The Collets in conjunction with the chucks are showing 0.004" of run-out at best to 0.010" of run-out at most.I've read a lot of complaints about bad run-out but with mine I have noticed that if I gradually spin the collet in the chuck as I am snugging the collet nut, the run-out seems to diminish as the collet becomes better seated. These collets seems to be plated with chrome or some other shiny coating as a rust inhibitor, which I imagine is a contributing factor to the excessive run-out as the plated surfaces become inconsistent . Therefore, if you desire precision tooling, I recommend buying precision ground, non-plated collets. Otherwise I feel these are a great value and will serve my intended purposes.

Very happy with these. No vibration at 7500 rpm. They don't stick in the spindle. Good addition to my small prototype shop.

Sean from NYThese are great import holders. I was skeptical due to the low price but pleasantly surprised that these are actually pretty great holders. I have used them for drilling, tapping, and end milling and they were good for all three. The nuts are a little "sticky" at first but they work in after a short time and work just fine as well. For smaller shops like mine this tool holder set is great due to the low cost. The local places want over 100.00 for one tool holder!!
