so with oiler head in place by time i add bit not enought room took apart flipped back plate and tracks now can use reguler drill bits and metal hole saw do fell magnetic was stronger beats hearting arm drilling chain pots in steel plate

I have been wanting a mag drill for years but i just couldn't make myself spend $800 to $1000 dollars for something i wouldn't be using all the time so for about the last 20 years i have just kind of blocked it out of my mind and then i seen these mag drills on Vevor'S website when i was buying a tig walding water cooler for around #200 dollars and i said yep one of those is going to be mine soon. so after ii did a little research i decided on this one the 1550W and this mag drill is a Beast it will drill through anything as long as you go nice and slow and use lots of cutting oil. When you flip the mag switch it grabs like right now. The only thing I don't like is there is no kind of stop to keep the head from coming down other then just holding the handle or putting the srrap on it that comes with it there needs to be some kind of pin that locks it from coming down but overall i'm really happy with it and would recommend this mag drill you won't be sorry there made well and should last a very long time.

this item was incredibly well priced and arrived well packaged it worked well to drill about 50 holes in my welding table only reason i gave it 4 stars is the chuck key does not fit the chuck, and i can't find one that does fit properly otherwise a great tool for a great price. btw. the chuck runs with no noticeable run out. drills true. highly recommend this product.

Just started my welding business and have used this Mag Drill a couple of times. I can say it is 100% better than using a regular drill and a lot more precise than me using a cutting torch and although I don't have a plasma cutter, I'll go out on a limb and say The mag drill is better. Came packaged well and it works. Drills prefect holes. I would recommend it and I would purchase from this company again. You just can't beat it for the price.

used it to cut 1 1/8" holes through 1" thick 4340 steel plenty of torque at slow speed, cut through it like butter very happy
