There were no instructions which we expected after reading other reviews online, but it was not hard to put together. All the parts looked like the online photo. We actually wanted a way to move our goats when they are sick. We had been using an old blanket to carry them and we are getting older so the small wheels look like a good option instead of a straight lift. it looks like this will work for even the large goats. We hope we don't need it, but are ready when we do.

Purchased this stretcher for our 95 pound Rhodesian Ridgeback. She underwent a front leg amputation due to bone cancer. The low profile of this stretcher and heavy duty construction made it ideal for moving her from the vet's office to our truck and then to our home. Amazingly, after surgery and two days recovering at the vet's office, Delilah was able to walk to our truck and managed to get into our house as a tri-paw. Now, after three months of chemotherapy she can chase squirrels. Even though we did not need to use the strercher having it gave us peace of mind knowing if needed we could strap her in and wheel her around and even use it to lift her into our truck. The stretcher is easy to hang on a wall and ready if needed.

I ordered this yesterday and didn’t expect delivery until March 6th at the earliest based on the email confirmation. To my surprise it arrived today. Super happy about that. Having read the reviews before ordering I knew there wouldn’t be any instructions for assembly. I took it out of the box and examined all the parts which were in a single bag. I’m no rocket scientist but all the pieces made sense to me and I didn’t really feel the lack of written instruction was a problem. Let me just say that I ordered this because I had 3 large dogs and my largest, a female Great Dane that weighed 112 lbs., collapsed outside yesterday and getting her to our van so we could rush her to the vets was incredibly difficult and time consuming. We used an oversized comforter and carried her to our vehicle which was very hard but lifting her up into the van was nearly impossible. If we had something like this it may have saved us previous time and possibly saved her life. I absolutely recommend anyone with larger animals get this and pray you never need it. We now have it assembled and ready to go and I pray it rots in closet. But if the need arises again, we are prepared and confident it will do the job easier and quicker.

Makes getting my dog outside

Our Labrador was having spine surgery and I was scared about how to get him in and out of our SUV. I bought this and was a bit skeptical at first.

We bought this stretcher for my dog that had to have knee surgery. When we brought her home she was not allowed to jump on anything or go up and down stairs. We had to carry her every time she needed to go out to go potty. This stretcher was built well and easy to use. My dog is 30 pounds. Worked well for her but may not work as well if you have a big dog that is fidgety. The only problem I had is it takes two people to use the stretcher. Tried to do it myself by was very hard. Still would recommend it for the price over other items I saw.

A must have for medium to large breed dog owners. Wish I had purchased this years ago!

My vet's office used one of these to move my dog from the floor of the office to a gurney. My dog is a German Shepherd, clocking in at close to 110 lbs. I've long been concerned about how best to transport her in an emergency, because she's too big for me to straight-up carry, and the best I'd been able to come up with had been just using an old sheet. This transport stretcher, with its multiple padded grip handles and safety strap, is a fantastic alternative. I tested it out and my mother and I were able to carry the (squirming) dog through the house with no problems... except for the dog not really liking the ride. I keep it folded up and stored in my car trunk for emergencies. It seems well-made and sturdy enough that if necessary, I could even drag the dog on it. The attachment points of the handles are reinforced with extra material and extra stitching, and I didn't even find any loose threads.

Our 70lb Australian Shepherd had surgery and was still having a hard time walking when we picked him up after his surgery. It did take 3 men with this stretcher, but we were able to get him in and out of the car and the into the house.
