This is pretty simple box to hold, dirt, sand, or concrete to add weight to the back of a tractor, and make it heavier on the back. The build quality is pretty good. If I were designing it, I would make it about 6-inches wider each side, and about 6-inches taller. I would also install a 4-inch water tight bung, instead ofthe plate, to make it water tight. That would allow adding RV antifreeze to bring the weight up more than dry sand.

Nice box quality tbd, as configured held 6 80 lb bags of concrete.

Easy to mount and easy to fill. I especially like the hitch mount.

Had no issues that other people had. Filled full of stone and does a great job.

Had to do some minor fixing as one of the 3 point hook ups were bent. Heated and straighten. Painted after heating. Added 5 inch form on top filled with concrete for more weight. Now works perfectly for my needs.

I wish they had quality control, the lifting pins. the holes on the box are not the size of the screw part of the pin, since I had to drill them out with what I had. one side fit good the other? needs to have a quality check when cutting the holes I assume there plasma cut. but seems someone should have caught that before paint. otherwise the box is what it's supposed to do. once I get the hole bigger and fill it, then will find out.

It is not packaged well and arrived dented and bent. Little time with a hammer and a large pipe wrench I got it to fit. One lower tab was bent in pretty good. 2x2 hitch reciever is like 2 1/4 x 2 1/4. (Lose fit) seen other reviews that pins were too low for a Kubota. They've raised them up. If you Have a kioti is kinda high. My 3 point will touch the ground almost.It's not going to hold sand unless it's bagged. Leaky.Not sure on how much the hitch will tow its not very strong.If you need a ballast quick. Here you go. Mine arrived like 3 weeks ahead of time.

One pad eye was a little bit bent but not an issue. Modifications were made and only makes it a better product for my application.

This ballast box is well built and a good value. There was a small problem with the order and the seller addressed it promptly and to my satisfaction. Seller stands behind product.
