I was dubious at first. Brand I was not familiar with at a too good to be true cost. Blown away. Using in a 9x8 roll up door. Comparing to my other roll up door that cost 5x more... Pros: - amazing value - quiet - faster than my other openers Possible cons: - the opener did not fit my style door and probably doesn't directly fit yours if bought from the major US manufacturers. I made it work with a bit of trimming and grabbing a small u shaped bracket out of some scrap metal. - does not have fancier features like others - no soft close, half open, vacation mode, etc. - doesn't match any of my other transmitters. Hoping to find something universal that can be programmed with all - does not come with optical sensors but still auto stops if the door hits something before it's programmed close position

I purchased one of these and was impressed enough to order another. They take a little work to get mounted, as one would expect, but nothing complicated. rolls up and down my 10x10 doors without issue and remotes work from my house which is at least 100 ft away. Not sure if they will last forever but I am very pleased with their programming and operation.

My role up door is a commercial grade door. Consequently, installation did not work as completely as the directions stated. I had to do some alterations to complete installation, but other than that, it has worked well since it was installed. Just a note, our garage is 100 feet away from the house. The receiver receives the signal to open the garage door from inside the house.

Bought this because it looked like the simplest way to power up my rolling doors. Took considerable modifications to make it fit. We will see how it holds up as I couldn't get it to stay in alignment. Works well. Plastic parts don't give me a lot of confidence in longevity. We will see. If I haven't changed my review, it's still working.

Great product for a metal garage. Opens 10x10 garage doors with ease. Have bought 4 and will buy more if I build another garage.

This product worked so well I ordered 3 more for my other garage doors. I did have to do some modifications, because my doors was closed drums(knew that from other reviews and going into the install), Not a deal breaker and have all 3 garage doors on automatic door openers for less than the cost of one door opener!

Quite smooth operation. Installing required moving my door end bracket for clearance for the opener. Also had to modify door roller spool for opener drive legs to fit. Very happy with end results.

I bought two of this product to replace two of the two-piece units available on Amazon. I purchased the two-piece units because I wanted to be able to operate the doors easily without having a remote handy, and the competitor product allows the control box to be located where it can be accessed easily. But the quality of the competition units are poor compared to the one-piece Vevor units - and much more expensive. The competition units seemed to have a lot of slop in the drive mechanisms, and the door travel was uneven and jerky. They both finally failed after less than six months of use. The Vevor units are much smoother and quieter, so I'll just keep a broom handle close to each if I need to operate them and don't have a remote with me. Hopefully they will last - the two-year warranty is a huge plus. The competition has no warranty.

Garage door opener is wonderful. Had to fabricate a couple of brackets also on my door the pipe sticking out of the center of the drum was too short so I had to add a piece or iron water or black gas pipe which ever you have. If you are not good with making a few alterations this is not for you or have a handy man install it for you. I am going to buy another one for the other door soon.
