I bought this fan for my DIY home uses. I chose an explosion proof fan so that I can spray oil-based paint in tent and have the fan filter and evacuate the overspray and fumes. I have only yet turned the fan on to inspect it, and it seems that it will work well for my needs. I gave 4/5 stars because the fan came with some serious scratches and abrasions to the paint, which seems like more than could have occurred during shipping. Looking at Mophorn's (the seller and presumably the manufacturer) reviews, this seems to be a very common occurrence. Based on those seller reviews, I doubt I will get any support if anything goes wrong. Will update if anything materially changes.

I just received the unit and there was no plug so I’m writing this review more as information for potential buyers. I have no idea why this information was not in the instruction booklet. The wiring is keyed to the European standard so yellow/green is ground, blue is neutral and the tannish brown color is hot.The unit seems very well put together and is fairly quiet for the amount of air it’s moving.

Moves a lot of air safely. Happy with product.

We use these in our company operation when workers enter sumps to provide clean air and extract fumes. The fans work well for this purpose. Not too noisy. These fans are used with flex duct pipe to direct the air flow into the sump while the fan stays topside.

Requires electrical wiring knowlege and ability to wire the power cord end which comes out-of-the-box as exposed wires and no plug like what you'd typically expect to plug it into a wall outlet. Must wire this pre-stripped end to either a junction box, receptacle, or like what I did- a cut and stripped 3-prong PC power cord.

I use this for my small home spray booth (6x9ish) and it is much more than adequate. Future plans are for a bigger booth and I have no doubt it’ll be fine. Well worth the cake.

First of all, the unit is very sturdy. Be aware, however, that the POWER PLUG is not included. That would be fine if the manufacturer description noted that it is not included.

Excellent product

Am a general contractor. Use for ventilating enclosed spaces along with 25' flex hose. Compact, easy to move around, and store.
