Bought to build Lithium Ion 18650 and 21700 packs for R/C planes. Took only a few minutes to set up... virtually plug-n-play. Plenty of Youtube videos to get you started. Found 2P 60A setting work best using 3 to 4 double spot welds on each battery tab. I would recommend buying 100% nickel strips rather than the nickel plated ones they supply for added security.

the only complaint is the soldering iron only lasted 5 min but that is not what i bought it for the spot welder allowed me to put together my lio4 battery with 400 cells so many many spot welds and is still working

I mis-ordered a110v welder instead of a 220V, called shipper, explained the situation, the welders passed each other in the exchange. I would buy from this guy again.

Consistent quality machine for spot welding. The foot pedal helps to improve the precision of the welding. I found a zero impedance welding pen at Amazon that works well with this machine, making it a good alternative to those welders that are based on lithium ion batteries.

The product is working well I don't use it alot I welded twice with it. So far so good.

I had read many of the other reviews and I was expecting to have problems with the spot welder, but I was hoping to get lucky. When I removed the spot welder from the shipping box two of the screws fell out. These weren't the small screws that held the case together, it was two of the longer screws that held the transformer in place. I was obviously concerned because when I tilted the case, I could hear the nuts rolling around. I was fearful that something would short out if I turned it on. I contacted the seller and they quickly responded and were able to resolve the problem to my satisfaction.I was able to replace two 18650 batteries in an old Dremel Stylus and the spot welder did what was needed to weld in the new batteries. The Dremel Stylus works as well as new.

Easy to use, amazing on who quick and strong the welds are in seconds. when you do a set of batteries in a long line, it feels like eating corn, the whole ear. being able to move the tips in and out so simple to make just the right size welds. Looking foward to building of more batteries, I just wish we could get a reasonable priced 18650 batteries, so we could locally fill the need and demand for this move into the future. We would also like doing bigger sized batteries, Can't wait to take the next step. thanks Vevor... we feel you !!

Used Spot welder to attach a new battery to circuit board. Unique tool would have cost and taken a long time if sent to manufacturer. Time saver to have.
