A great little welder for the price.
After checking out various reviews of the different models of battery tab welder out there I decided to purchse this model. Packaging was a little iffy and I expected that from a Chinese imported product. Fortunately nothing in the package was damaged. So far I haven't been disappointed. The machine itself seems to be reasonably robust, but I ended up wrapping the leads on the handheld attachment in heat resistant kapton tape to prevent a meltdown since I adjusted the tips on it to their closest position. The highly adjustable power settings and multiple pulse weld functions provide plenty of power even on a 110V circuit. I actually purchased the unit to use for something other than batteries and it worked flawlessly for that purpose. I'm sure I'll be using it for battery packs at some point down the road, but for now it served its purpose nicely. For the price I'm really impressed with what it comes with for accessories. I'd buy it again in a heartbeat.

Really great machine for making lipo packs
Did everything I expected and wanted from it, have made several batteries with it so far and performs well. The controls took a minute to learn but are intuitive and easy to use.

It's handy to use and works great!
I like this unit! It works well for welding thin Stainless Steel sheet material.

Does the job. Price is right on.
Bought this to build a diy ebike battery. Works great. Does seem a little under powered. Don't have to worry about blowing through anything. Definitely wouldn't be able to use a welding pen. Overall, it's a budget welder and works pretty darn good.

Power supply upgrade (possibly needed).
I did not know I needed to upgrade my supply power to accommodate the 60amp recommended. Should have read all info. But it does the job on the thinner metal, with it did have more power for the thicker normal tabs.

Spot welder works ok.
The welder is easy to setup. Welded 0.1mm nickle strip without any problem. It is definitely not heavy duty but it works.

Easy setup, and fast shipping. A well functioning spot welder.
I've never used a spot welder before but it was very easy for me to set up in about 15 minutes, the controls are intuitive and it had a double redundancy firing method, so I feel safe when using it.

better than expected
Not bad, better than expected.Tried 1mm, 1.5 & 2mm thickness welding strips. They all work, you have to find the sweet spot for each (amps & pulse).Spring loaded electrode system kinda mickey mousy, a little crazy glue took care of that.Just tested some welds for now, works well, must have clean surfaces (great welds & minimizes sparking).Foot switch works good (better control).I'll be building a power pack soon and will be able to evaluate better. It'll be nice not to have to solder Li-on batteries from now on (scary!)

Great little welder.
It's low power, so it has to be set pretty high to get a good weld on 0.15 nickle strip, but it works great on 90% with double welds. I have blown one fuse after a few hundred welds, and it gets hot if you aren't careful to take breaks, so make sure to give it a few minutes to cool down between runs. Not a heavy production unit, but great as a cheap bench top unit for hobbies, which is exactly what I bought it for.
