I highly recommend to purchase worth the money

I needed to set it on max to get the welds I was looking for.

Works well, but -- despite being equipped with a120 volt plug -- it requires 240 volts to operate correctly.

Have a bunch of older battery operated power tools - Porter Cable and some Ego stuff (lawn mower, string trimmer) as well as an older e-bike. Got this to rebuild failing battery packs.Only had it for a few weeks but tried it out and it works really well - nice design and works well. I specifically chose Mophorn as I have had good results with their other stuff.

Just completed 3000+ 18650 LiIon welding without problem.

I like the unit but it was obviously designed for 240 V A.C. and in the US the 120 V version comes with some caveates. For a start even a 20 Amp circuit make cause the breaker to trip if set to max power. I run it on a 30 Amp circuit in my workshop. Secondly the wand drops enough power that you will need to sharpen the probe tips or there will not be enough heat to make a good weld. After all that it works well for me and I like the T12 soldering iron it comes with.

I had to wait for my BMS's to show up so I have had this in the box until i needed it. I put mine on settings 2P/80 amps. This weld holds...I cannot remove nickel strip with my had and actually cut myself pretty good. I had to use pliers to remove the welded strip. So the weld is strong and not crap. I was a little scared at first to buy this device but I just had to jump in with both feet otherwise what are the other options? They only get more expensive and you just want this to do its job and do it right. This tool will work for you. I did not get a dud or one that did not work. No complaints here.
