Good
It works okay definition for beginners if you miss the weld it'll store the energy than if you get it the next thing you know you got a hell of a spark so not for beginners but it does work as it said it would

Works perfectly with minimal effort
Welds 0.15 Nickel strips to 18650 batteries with ease. I set my Pulse to 2 and the Current to 60%. It came with instructions so there is no mystery to how this is set up. For the $100 I figured there might be some small flaws. The copper welding electrodes did not sit straight or parallel to one another, so I had to bend them a little. I spaced them approximately 3mm tip-to-tip. This is great spacing to create a pretty sufficient arc weld (spark). Be careful NOT to space the tips so close that the thicker upper parts touch. I suppose this would weld them together when they short out when the pulse is activated.

Very good welder
Works very nice. Burnt out one electrode which was shorted against the other when I installed it. Error on my part. Good buy.

Perfect for the DIY projects
I bought this after wasting my money on one of those red spot welders. So far I have made about 500 battery spot welds and it works great( knowing it's not a production welder I limit myself to about 50 welds and then break for a while). I am welding .15mm and running 2P 80% on salvaged 18650 batteries. My welds are just as good as the ones I removed. Head tension is probably near 80% also.

This unit worked perfectly for my job of building battery packs. Very happy with purchase.

Nice
Smaller than expected but works nicely with the little I have tried it on.

Entry level spot welder - A good value
Works well with the pedal or with the pressure trigger. It could use a little more power but it seems to get the job done. It is far better to spot weld batteries vs soldering as the heat from soldering does damage to the cells but this however does not damage your cells.

Don’t overthink it
Easy to use for rebuilding battery packs. Set the pulse switch to 2 and the current setting to 60%. It’s the setting everyone uses. It helps if you lightly abrade the battery surface and the nickel strip to remove any oxidation. Then push up on the electrodes and instant weld. Job done.

Good build unit.
The unit works good. Also the info on Amazon said it was a soldering station also but it is not. Note the instructions could be a little better but it is a good unit and anyone buying it should know what they are doing anyway the unit is designed to work with a table all the hardware is there all you will need is a table or small desk to mount it to. All in all good little welder lots of adjustments makes great wels.
