I really like how strong the button maker is. I also like the versatility. People have enjoyed the buttons that we have made and given to them. The best part is the opportunity to customize a button for someone. Everyone loves them.

I used this product to make pins for gifts and sell. What I also liked about this pin maker is that it comes with lots of the materials.

This item arrived scratched and missing a washer, and was frustrating to use at first. However, after some experimentation, it is working very well for me. Here are some things I've learned to make the process work:1. Yes, the circle cutter is flimsy and frustrating. However, cutting CLOCKWISE helps a lot. I was ready to just throw it away when cutting counterclockwise. After realizing this, I'm keeping it, but not treasuring it.2. From the top die assembly, there is a protruding metal bar, parallel with the table. To get the dies to register completely and well, this bar needs to swivel all the way to the left when using the left die, and all the way to the right when using the right die. (This was not mentioned in the instructions, and appears to be critical to getting the device to work.)3. Thicker papers (as compared with copy paper) seem to yield better results. I have been using quilting cotton as well.4. At first, I was pressing the die lever as hard as I could, with my full weight. Once I learned about swiveling the horizontal metal protruding piece (as mentioned above, item2), this was completely unnecessary. When all is working well, a gentle push on the lever is sufficient.5. (Not a tip, just a comment:) The plastic button backs have large holes that allow the pin part to move around. It can be difficult to get the pin to open and close without bending the metal a little bit.

I absolutely like this product , it is very easy to assemble and most of all very easy to use!! The instructions are so easy to understand!!

This took some practice but I think I have figured it out. Make sure you keep the bolt tight holding the silver stamper on the top. It come loose every once in a while and makes the button fail to form correctly.

A great product! My daughter loves it. She's made tons of buttons and is even selling them to friends; they look that professional! Only failures have been due to user error.

I teach middle school art and ordered this to make buttons for kindness month. It was super easy to put together, took maybe 5 minutes. It is very sturdy. I ordered a circle punch because it's faster. I use printer paper. My 6-8 graders designed an original button, drew it and used the machine to finish it out. Takes no time at all. They love it!!! (170 kids in one day) I highly recommend this button maker, I think it will be used for a long time to come.

This button machine is a super cool thing! Honestly its so easy to use and really the only buttons that I have messed up on were user error or me trying to get the hang of it. The red paint job was a little wack but its okay, I think i'm painting something fun over it. Make sure to order a 1 1/4 circle hole punch with the machine, however, the paper cutter the machine includes broke on my first try with it. My little buttons are looking fantastic and it feels good to see people enjoying my small form of art.

This was purchased to use at a fund raiser and it did a great job for us. You can make any kind of statement on a button and they sell pretty well. The unit make s it simple to produce.

For the price, this is incredible. Compare prices anywhere and you'll see that this is a great deal. There were a few things I could complain about but not enough to take stars off, considering how much money I save on this machine compared to others. For example, it did not take thicker paper the way more expensive papers did, but at the same time is easier to use!- CSH**I had the hardest time trying to put this together because the instructions are wrong. Those two pins (which are very loose & easy to loose) are upside down in the directions from how they should be. They're really loose so I lost one but it still seems to work just fine so *shrug* besides that it's a great deal.
