The wheel is plastic and that was very disappointing as that is clearly metal in the photo. Mine was damaged in shipping but the customer service was very good! They were quick to respond and make right. I would recommend the product!

Based off reviews left by others having problems with broken or missing hardware, I was worried when I placed this order. However the company must have taken the packaging issues seriously because when I received my package, there was plenty of cushion on both ends of the laminator, plus it was wrapped and the hardware in plastic sleeves. That or other people might have been unlucky in receiving previously opened or returned items that were restocked.I didn't see any instructions on how to install the handles, but frankly it's very straight forward. I just used a mallet to gently tap the handle into the turn shaft, then tightened the screws down to hold in place. You do have to push the handle in in order to get the screws to hold properly. Nothing else needed to be installed or adjusted. I also cleaned off the rollers prior to using it. There is a bit of a smell from the rubber rollers when first out of the box, but that dissipates in a few days.Unit itself is perfect for the cold lamination I need to do with my stickers. I've already ran several sheets through it and it works flawlessly!

Product came quickly, but was badly damaged (see image). Says it can accommodate up to an inch, but when turning the knobs I do not see the rollers rise or lower. Product DOES apply vinyl to sign blanks well. Love using it, wish it wasn't bent up in places, but felt that it would be too hard to make a claim to return, etc. Did I mention instructions? Right...none.

Works great! Just purchased my first large format printer and decided to go with a manual laminator while I save funds for something larger. This is exactly what I need as I’m starting out!

I've been needing to upgrade my old ID laminator for various projects and this one fit the job perfectly. I love how it has a forward and reverse option as well as a hot and cold option. It says can laminate up to 1mm thickness but I've done acrylic cold laminates up to 4mm in thickness without any issues.

I was happy to find my Laminator SAFE in its box. It actually had a thin piece of wood on one end. I was worried it would arrive damaged because of reviews I had read, but it got here safe. Build is what you would expect for the price and it does what it's supposed to. Very happy with this purchase.

Being working with this laminator for the last 3 months. Great buy!

Works well, but two issues for me.1. Slight curl on the upper right side of the laminate sheets when I use my machine on thicker mm especially. (User error? It’s possible.)2. Needs a feeder tray as it’s almost impossibly blue to put the sheets in completely straight.Overall I would recommend, if you can deal with the above.
