Paired this up with a 5HP compressor pump from a well-known discount tool place that rhymes with 8. Had to buy the right sized pulley for the motor but you must do that with any motor. 5/8" pulley fit the motor shaft perfectly, so good quality control there. Running this off my residential single phase 240VAC service. Motor seems to run a little on the warm side, especially one rated for continuous duty, but maybe that's normal for a 5HP motor. This is my first one. The base of the motor has many slots and holes to fit all standard motor mounting plates, which is very nice compared to some motors that just have a few holes punched in the mounting plate. Motor shaft comes with a key installed and a piece of heatshrink holding it on. The motor came very well packed with zero damage. I was worried about shipping but there's nothing to worry about. The motor comes surrounded by a thick, Styrofoam sleeve that's goes inside a sturdy cardboard shipping box. No way the motor is getting harmed with any kind of normal UPS/FEDEX style shipping. Time will tell how long it lasts and if I have problems I'll come back and edit this review. So far, I'm very impressed.

Put this on my table saw, old motor died, works great! The only issue is the the amp draw is higher than the old one, so had to use a separate electrical line for the saw. I can setup for CCW and I had to change it to CW, not a problem the pictures provided were fantastic and the lines that needed swapping were even labeled!

Everything I purchase from Vevor has been high quality and worked well. This motor is no exception. It works well. I purchased a used 80 gallon compressor for $250.00. I replaced the pump and motor with ones I purchased at Vevor. I wound up with a brand new 80 gallon compressor for around $600.00, can't beat that. The only thing I would change about Vevor is the company they use to ship their goods. It took a month from when Vevor shipped the motor for me to receive it and I only received it after Rita from Vevors incredible customer service department called FedEx and apparently raised hell. Offering UPS as a shipping option would fix that.

Motor seemed to be built alright it didn’t hold up to what I needed it for but customer service was quick to fix it for me . No complaints.

Don't seem to have the durability for large compressor but excellent for smaller ones. Happy for what I needed.

I had to add a 1/2" plate to match existing holes. Overall it works and I save a ton of money. Appi so far

I gave it a 5 star review even tho the motor did not work properly. Customer service was great. I contacted the company and explained the issues with the motor, They promptley issued me a refund, Very nice people to work with, I purchased a second motor from them and it has been working fine.

Was as described and works well. Would by from seller again.
