Good price to value!
It took me a while to put it together - the glass pot needs to have the handle & 2 steel frames attached. It also took me a while to figure out the ideal temperature for water distillation. I tried 108 C but the "E" showed up too soon. Did a little research and found out that water boils at 100 C. So I use 101 C and in 3 hours, I have 3-1/2 quarts. Not quite a gallon but I do run it twice every other day. I do clean it out with some citric after every use (the stainless steel inner pot) and that does the trick. I have not had this unit for too long and there is NO phone number of Product Information Company and the manual is brief. Do I have a 1 year guarantee on this product? If I do, ought not I have a way to register it with the Company? Also, there is no "company" name on the product itself. Unit is also bigger than I expected but does a very good job at distilling. Also, what it does NOT tell you is that when it is done distilling, the fan will shut off and the "E" will be showing, which the manual says "E" means it overheated. Anyway, I just hope it will last me a few years because I really obsessed about choosing which distiller I should get. I liked this one and the color red makes me happy and matches my kitchen!

Noisy fan, but cost beneficial. Use a timer to prevent salt accumulation inside.
Water boils at 100 degrees Celsius so crank it up to the max, 108C, fill with hot water above the two lines at the Full mark (I now go to the top of the F), and set a timer for 3 hours (I plug into a timer that I set for 3 hours so it turns off automatically..."Outlet Timer, 7 Day Wall Plug in Light Timer Outlet, CANAGROW Indoor Digital Programmable Timers for Electrical Outlets, 3-Prong Dual Outlet for Appliances, 15A/1800W Brand: CANAGROW").Filling above the Full lines and setting for 3 hrs allows for the water carafe to fill up yet prevents the distiller from running dry and hopefully minimizes the coating of the inside & bottom with evaporated salts. I actually scrub the bottom and sides with a stainless steel wool to remove the salt coating every use to avoid the need to use the detergent (citric acid?) granules provided (about 4oz). Just takes me 5 minutes to do this. Also, note that this unit is unfortunately not waterproof, so be very careful when cleaning and filling in the kitchen sink to avoid water getting into the bottom electrical or control panel.I wish the glass carafe could sit a little closer to the distiller to better insure it will drip in the center of the glass carafe opening but the distiller is cone shaped so the glass carafe cannot get any closer. Just insure the distiller spout is pulled outwards and the glass carafe sits right next to the distiller. The unit comes with three little activated? carbon pouches of which one is placed in the outlet spout of the distiller [possible replacements: "12 Pack of Distiller Filters Made From Activated Charcoal. Works Great for Megahome and Many Other Countertop Distillers", Brand: iFilter]. The metal spout has to be firmly pulled down to clear the plastic, then slid outwards to put in or pull out the carbon bag. The bag does not fit the area very well, one just has to do the best to fit it in. Also, be warned that the top metal cover of the glass carafe can screw off, which might allow the glass to

Chinese knockoff
Don't you wish they would hire an American firm to translate their Chinese instead of using a computer? The glass jar is not suitable to pour water from, and the lid does not fit well. Otherwise, works as advertised. Would not recommend or buy again.

Not great but decent enough to get the job done
The product is incredibly easy to setup and use. I would recommend either replacing the charcoal with copper scrubbers or using a different filtration system as the charcoal bags do seem to add an off flavor to the end product. The airstill has produced 60% ABV on every run I've used it for (about 20 gallons of wash). I would also recommend getting some ceramic saddles to add to the boiler.

Simple, great results!
The water it produced was fantastic! I tested the water for contaminants before and after and the result was exactly as I had hoped. I highly recommend it!

Great distiller!
This distiller is awesome. I highly recommend it! We use it for various purposes but one main purpose is for our water boiler and it has a great flavor!I will warn you all though, the thick smelly residue is is left behind will make you question drinking water from the tap.Super easy to clean, just put some citric acid let it get half way through and turn it off. Let the warm / heated water and citric acid do its thing then simply rinse wipe and off you go.
