Seemed a little expensive but after seeing it and testing it, I'm pleased. Have only tested it on 1/16 aluminum stops and ferrules over stainless wire, but it performs beautifully and far nicer than using a hammer crimper. Feels like it would last forever as long as that cast head is as well made as it appears.

Handles are plenty long, but annoyingly tapered which makes them hard to clamp in a woodworking vise. Crimps fine. You'll need a large vise or second set of hands to free up a hand to position ferrules at start-of-crimp.

Powerful swaging on he 3/32 cable i have been working on and excellent cable cutters on either side of the jaws cut cleanly without fraying the cable

I bought this swager to repair my snow blower - which it did very nicely. It makes a nice, secure swage and produces a great cable termination. With the multiple sizes, I couldn't ask for better. Great product!

I weigh in at 135 pounds and had no trouble swaging 7/32" and 5/16" aluminum wire rope connectors. Built like a good set of bolt cutters.

I've been using this 3/16 aircraft cable and it's done a fantastic job at both cutting the cable and crimping the loop sleeves. It was a little tight to start with but it's good. I've found that it works best for me to open the handle and put one side down on the floor and then just press the other handle down so that I can use my weight to do most of the work.If I needed to buy another one I would, but I'm fairly certain this will last the rest of my life and then some.
