Pretty quiet machine. Makes ice quickly. You will definitely need a base about 6" off the ground or it won't drain if it's on the floor. Worst thing about this ice maker is getting off all the blue rapping to protect the stainless steel.

I connected it under my kitchen sink so it took a little finagling - thank you to the guy at Home Depot lol. Turned it on and it started making ice. I personally wanted the thicker ice so I went to the heaviest setting, don't do that lol set it at 0 and you'll be good. This works great I simply love it. ***** I read comment before buying and one of the biggest complaints I saw was it not holding said amount of ice. Something I was ok with so it didn't deter me. Let me tell you, I turned it on and it dropped I've every 14 minutes until the bin was full. **** I TOTALLY RECOMMEND, IT'S WORTH IT.

I have to say that this ice machine is big bang for your buck. I like the easy features that my old machine didn't have The one thing i don't like was the blue plastic protection coating and is hard to remove.

I have been in the refrigeration business for over 35 years. I have serviced, maintained, installed and repaired thousands of ice machines throughout my career and the Vevor system has proven to be one of the very best systems I have had the pleasure of working with. My wife and I decided to install this system in our home and it is one of the best systems every. We like it so much we purchase another one had had it shipped up to my brother in Alaska. He installed it at his fishing property and absolutely loves it too. No more trips to the store for ice and always plenty of ice for coolers and drinks. The Vevor ice machine is well worth the price, extremely easy to install and works perfectly. We are very happy with this product. Great job Vevor. You have a forever customer in us.

THIS MACHINE WORKS AMAZINGLY WELL!I honestly cannot believe how quickly it produced ice and consistently produced LOTS OF GOOD QUALITY ICE!!The cubes are 'held together' by a small sheet of ice that develops over all of the cubes as they 'drop' into the basket below, so it IS important to regularly break up the sheets into smaller cubes, because as others have commented, the machine will stop because the sheets back up and prevent more ice from being made.The ice is also SOLID ice. They are clear and pure. Not full of air or any holes.These are the perfect ice cubes for drinks, because they won't melt as fast as ice that has more surface area or air inside them.This is really a PROFESSIONAL COMMERCIAL GRADE TYPE ICE MAKER, but in a small unit that is VERY EASY TO USE!I was also impressed how long the ice frozen remained in the unit.One IMPORTANT NOTE. YOU MUST BE ABLE TO HAVE THE DRAIN HOSE DRAIN!As part of this unit's operation, it DOES drain water through the melting of existing ice and some minor splashing that occurs within the unit.Regarding noise: The unit does have two front facing fans (that allows for under-counter installation), and they could be considered a bit noisy IF you had the Ice Maker running 24/7 in your kitchen, but placed in a bar area, laundry room, garage or other less quiet environment, they're barely noticeable, if at all.There was some pretty obvious cosmetic damage and a large dent that occurred during shipping, however the seller QUICKLY AND VERY COURTEOUSLY RESPONDED and dealt with the issue very fairly and immediately as promised.I have to say that other negative comments regarding their customer service surprise me.I provided exactly what they asked for (pictures of unit, box etc), tested the unit for its operation and they did not dispute anything I reported and there was only about 1 business day delay in replying (which in the online customer service world, I believe is excellent!)!I would buy from HappiBuy again, without hesitatio
