This is much better than a simple motorcycle cover. It's kinda thin but it keeps my motorcycle clean for the most part. What's really nice is that it just pops right over your bike in a second, no need to wait for the engine to cool down.You are supposed to anchor it, but it won't fit over the motorcycle with out a bit of a lift over the handle bars. So I can't see how it could be anchored. At least for me. I think it's cheaply made, but probably a good value if it lasts for a few years. Time will tell. It's March 2023 now.
Where to start..4 of the poles had flaking paint already and rust beginning. Quick rattle can paint touch up but a bad start. The instructions are worthless but not too hard to assemble. Which way the fabric cover installed was trial and error especially as the cut outs on the bottom are in the wrong place. FYI, the reflective stripes are at the entrance.I chose to add stainless washers and nylon washers at the hinges for wear, the bolts are long enough. However caused myself work as the pole lengths are different and the pin has to face in.. this sucked up some time as I did it wrong a few times but this is my fault. Although a $2 addition at the factory would fix this. Finally pay attention to the height. I ordered one that had the correct total height BUT after all this I can't get the bike in because when the front is folded up the first bar is 5" lower that the highest bar...10/29. Adding that the customer service, while slow through email was consistent and we worked to a suitable resolution so you can at least be confident if you have an issue it will be resolved.
Mainly using the cover to keep dirt and pollen off, already have dry storage. Seems better than a bike cover, can store the bike hot unlike a cover. Wish it was taller and could lose a few inches in length. Takes up a bigger footprint than your bike. I'm excited to see how it holds up.
This works, but it isn't a smooth transition. I have to lift most of it over the windshield and mirrors of my 2011 BMW R1200GS...I didn't know that the bike was so high at these points (and the windshield is actually shorter than OEM). But all in all, I like the product. Just wish it glided over the entire bike smoothly...I can see that if you had a center stand, it might work better for you...
I bought this for my fiancé for Christmas. He has had many bike covers in the past that haven't lasted very long in the Weather. This one is amazing! It was very easy to put together, heavy-duty and not an eye sore. This has lasted through 2 storms so far with no damage to the material at all. I was concerned that my fiancé's Motorcycle wouldn't fit, but it fits perfectly. I am extremely happy with my purchase and would purchase again if need be.
This tent went together easily and seems fairly durable but I docked one star for sturdiness because a modest snowfall (light fry snow about 8" deep) was enough to weigh down the top causing the tent to start to open. I resolved that by inserting a couple of planks in the openings at the corners and weighing down the planks with cinder blocks.
