Used on a 310 gallon hot tub. Weight holds the hand rail in place. There's some surface rust appearing within the first year. The rust will not affect the use the hand rail.

Easily put together. All the screws lined up with no problems. Love that the grab bar is adjustable, my elderly Mother can safely get into the spa. I'm totally pleased with this product.

This is a wonderful handle to help us older people get into our spa. It is made well and no missing screws or bolts. The only drawback is after a lot of rain the screw and nuts have rust around them.I will spray them with black Rust-Oleum paint. Easy enough fix.

I was surprised the seller of our hottub didn't have anything like this. We loved it with our last hottub at our old address. So, at seller's suggestion we just filled the tub and didn't worry that we didnt' have this. BIG MISTAKE. As soon as the next water fill, I dumped all the water to make the tub light enough for a strong friend of mine to lift one corner slightly and we were able to slip the plate underneath the tub. A hot tub without this is dangerous.

Very sturdy for entry and exit as it holds our full weight as we pull ourselves out of the tub! Great for us as senior citizens to have this added stability. Highly recommend this product.

Can't really go wrong, however one hole in the base was slightly misaligned so I did have to ream it out slightly. I guess that's par for the course these days with sloppy manufacturing. But all in, hard to beat for the price. Very robust and sturdy and make out hot tub entry much safer. Would definitely buy again.

Seems promising - I hope it works. I won't know for a few days. Why - because I had to re-drill the hole for the bolt that runs through the main pole. Seems the Chinese didn't keep track of the ends. When the main pole is attached to the base plate, the angled supports that tie together on the pole miss the pole hole by an inch or so. If I turn the pole over the three pieces line up. However, the threads for attaching to the plate are now pointing up.This is steel so I have to re-paint to mitigate rusting where the new hole was made. Another gripe is that the manufacturer could not be bothered to provide more detail on how assembly should be done; e.g. which parts go where. Not difficult to figure out but... come on.
