If you use it as a fountain spout, I suggest you remove the footer valve (used to keep the pump primed).

I love this pump. I installed it on top of my water well, which has an electric pump at the bottom, my water is only 14’ from the top of the well, after installing and priming, I have fresh water any time , without electricity . This will be a huge benefit when the power goes out

I needed a well for my livestock. This works well. 'Pun intended.' You need a well point to drive into the ground. You can only get water as deep as 25 feet. But you do not have to go that deep.

I replaced an old hand water pump with this so I could water my flowers and plants. It works great and was easy to install. I would recommend this product to anyone.

I put this on an old well that we have in our "well room" (the house has been on city water for the last 40+ years). The water depth was about 20 feet deep and I made my suction pipe about 38ft long. I used a foot valve on the end of the pipe and removed the check valve and weight in the pump. It keeps it's prime and works great! I get about 12-16oz per pump. It pumps a little hard but I would say most of that is attributed to my water depth. The internal check valve took a good bit of suction to overcome. I'm not sure I would be able to overcome it and reach my depth.I was nervous because at a 20ft depth, and the nozzle about 3ft above the ground, it has to lift 23ft. The pump did it well though! As expected there is a little rust in the first couple pumps.

Good pump installed it on an old hand dug well thats 23 feet deep draws water fast and holds its prime good

Looks great and sturdy but just got it so it is hard to rate it.

The stand was everything we expected and more. The shallow well pump situated on a shallow well in front of our off-grid cabin on the 195 acres we just purchased looks great and works well (pun intended)
