I surely like this one better than the other shiny, thinner gauge stainless units. Definitely heavier, which my back can testify. But... in this case I believe heavier IS better. The primary reason I got this heavier unit is the outside radiant heat is more than the lighter gauge solo type of fire pits. The outer walls get to about 400-degrees. Not so good for little fingers, but it DOES provide more warmth. Not like an open fire, but better considering there's less smoke. I also like this unit over the expensive brand made in PA, primarily because I saved over $250. This is considering my unit is all stainless (won't rust) (usually +$100 extra), has a stainless lid (usually +$100), and a cooking grate (usually +$140). I also bought a fire pit cover since it'll be outside most of the year. And I also bought a heat shield to go under the unit to help killing the grass. I learned even with concrete pavers, the heat from these stainless fire pits will kill the grass. Hopefully the heat shield will help.

This fire pit fit perfectly inside our otherwise useless wood burning table. We will also take this winter camping with us!

Does everything it claims to, and very affordable. Have had for 2 weeks, and cooked multiple meals on it. # fat wood sticks, additional wood... put the light to it and then walk away. 30 minutes later it's smokeless and ready for cooking. The design does not throw off much heat, so don't get it if that's what you're looking for. I've recommended to several folks already, would not hesitate to buy again.

This is a well designed and well made firepit for a lot less money than some of the more popular ones. It was a great purchase.

Great stove, very little to 0 smoke.It will smoke at first, but very easy to get a roaring fire lit. It gets very warm all around, so don’t touch. Great for cooking with easily adjustable cooking grate. It is heavy, solid construction. Comes with a lid as well.

Well built

Other reviewers are correct. The screws for the handle are way too short. I had to go buy some m4 .7 x 8mm screws to put the handle on.Other wise the unit burns well and once the fire is hot it keeps the smoke down, even when adding fresh wood. The cooking rack is also sturdy.

The product is good- handle on lid is very small & cheap. We put another handle on it. Other than that good fire pit.
