We had 4 butcher block slabs that needed legs, 2 for desks and 2 that would make a large kitchen table. My husband ran across these HappyBuy ones doing an Amazon search. But he was somewhat skeptical because of some of these negative reviews, stating that they were cheaply made. We went on and ordered 4 sets. In fact we found them to not be cheaply made at all, but out of a very heavy metal. They have a nice powder-coating paint job and they portray a very beautiful, contemporary look. My husband is a home builder and insists that things he makes be made right. A few cons: One set of screw/nuts did not come in the matching black color, but were silver. Someone's packing mistake. But this was easily dealt with by using the silver screws on the underneath where they were out of sight. One of the welds was imperfect enough to make the alignment slightly off, also over-comable with a bit of muscle.There was a bit of rust on one leg that my husband also took care or. These are well-made metal legs, and we would definitely buy them again, and probably will to make a butcher block coffee table, and who knows what else. I wanted to post photos, but the review would not let me do that.
