1) Are the Compressed Length (43") and the Extended Length (59") the working range the PTO shaft can be used within to operate the tractor implement or are they the extreme limits between which the shaft sections will bind (compressed) and pull apart (extended)? If these are not the working lengths please confirm the minimum and maximum safe use lengths. 2) What are the reference points for these lengths, are they the very tips of the female spline receivers or the distance between u-joints?

1100MM is the shortest closed length of the assembly, 1/3 of the stretched steel pipe 700, that is, stretched 230, and the maximum working length is 1330. The length is generally the length from side to side, and it is also the length from side to side after stretching.

This product went on great and was working great. Had it on for about an hour and the end connecting to the tractor bent breaking the u-joint. I have contacted customer service for a new one and will updated once I hear back. This by no means is a review of every product I have bought as I have not had any issues with anything else.

Great replacement part
At the price point this can't be beat I haven't had any issues it hadn't slipped or failed at this point and I've been using it pretty regularly. The price point is my main focus same part at a local Big box store cost $400. Took a few days to get in and I was back up and running as soon as I installed it. Once again no problems great replacement part.
