We used scissors and it frayed and left long plastic stings everywhere. It was a complete mess. Very disappointed.

Cutting torch. We used to use scissors or a razor knife. A handheld cutting torch does a perfect job and melts the ends rather than fray them.

The Weed Barrier can be cut after being heated by an electric iron, so that it will not wear out.

It doesn’t really fray that badly but we hit it with a small propane torch.

I’m not sure how I would measure that at home. It’s pretty thick almost like a tarp material.

In my application as landscape underlayment, this product is covered with crushed granite, thus not exposed to direct UV rays. In one small area, a section of about a 6 inches by 4 feet was purposely left uncovered since June 2024. It does not appear to have suffered much from UV in the 8 months of Phoenix sun exposure. Not sure how a large piece would be effected. It is my understanding that intense heat causes it to shrink.

I can't imagine just putting the fabric down and not covering it with mulch or in my case tons of gravel. So, I don't think the durability of the fabric to UV rays is an issue. So, I don't know about the durability of the fabric to UV rays. Sorry.

I don’t know about Sealtech but I used it under 6 Ton of pea gravel. It is very heavy duty and could not see thru it. Hope this helps!

I don’t know about yhe Sealtech but you can not see thru the Vevor. It was easy to use and worked great.

I don't see the point in this but yes you can and I highly recommend wire mesh reinforcement at least.

Not sure why you'd want to pour concrete over this? It is for weed control and allows moisture to get into the soil and helps stabilize the soil some.

I don’t see why not. Not much different than poring over a plastic sheet moisture barrier except don’t expect it to act like a moisture barrier
