what is the additional red plug for?? am i supposed to remove the oil fill plug and replace it with the additional one?

Can you use this machine to process chopped up, cooked apples that would be made into an applesauce? I understand not being able to put a raw one into the machine but perhaps if it was cooked?

How often should gear oil be added the machine?

Can this also make apple sauce?
