This is a great iron for someone who has to do a lot of ironing. I was able to iron 20 yards of 59in wide linen on a single tank of water. I did notice that the iron heated up in about 90 seconds, but after the preheat, the light on the iron did not go out when the iron cooked down too much and it did pee on my fabric at one point. It did take almost continuous stream to get to that point. I went to pulsing the stream, and it kept up just fine. The house/ cord between base and iron just barely gets across 59in fabric which is unfortunate, which is the main reason to only give it 4 stars. Oh, and the button is in a good place to use right or left handed unlike an industrial iron

BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!! Do not buy this iron, and do not buy from vevor. they sell crap then put you off and you cant call and talk to anyone. this iron was so defective and hot that it burned the teflon shoe onto itself! not to mention that it burned my customer's clothes!

The decalcifying cartridge leaked, right out of the box. Am currently running the iron without one and using distilled water. I do not recommend purchasing this one for any kind of heavy use as the handle DOES get very hot, even on a medium setting and will subject your hands to burns. I don't know what they consider a "heat shield" but it does not work to protect yourself from burns. I'm going to go back to Reliable for a gravity feed iron for my workshop.
