We purchased this because we wanted to make apple cider this season. For a table top press, it worked well for our needs. I will warn you that the 6 blocks it comes with is NOT enough . My husband made 14 more. We use those and the original 6 each time we use the press. Other than that, we like it. It is made from metal and is easy to put together. Use a drill it’s faster

Works like a charm
Bought this for making apple cider. Was initially concerned about the included filter bags, and whether they would retain the pulp during pressing, but everything worked perfectly. Press was easy assemble, easy to use, seems well-made and should last a long time. I ended up making a few more wood blocks from scrap wood, to allow complete pressing of smaller batches of fruit.

a good size for pressing most fruit
Pressed 4 bushels of grapes in two hours , and 5 bushels of apples in 3 hours . It is quite labor intensive with apples since they have to be cut up first. Works great for small batches. Would definitely recommend this size, the smaller one is not worth the effort to keep refilling and emptying the small bag after pressing.
