Nice little desktop Drill Press.
Easy to put together, but it takes a while. Once you're done, you've got a really nice powerful little drill press. Good looking unit, too. I estimate that it weighs maybe 50 or 60 pounds, so you can move it around without too much effort. 3.2 Amp power makes it a bit more powerful than most of the others in this price range, which is important in a Drill Press. 5 stars!

Great first drill press for hobby work - fits my needs
The drill press arrived with a broken switch cover, but Vevor came through and promptly sent a replacement. The drill press is as expected. It will do the job. Is it a $1,000 machinists press? No, but it works for drilling holes that are true enough for me to build woodworking projects and punch holes in my metal stuff. I've used a lot of drill presses, from the raggedy wobbling version we had on the farm, to the high end drill press in shop class. For the money, this press is just what I need.

This is what I was looking for a good drill press at a reasonable price that covers all my needs like the speed controller you can slow it to 540 up to 3200 at least that's what the readout says made a stand for it to set on in the shop to make it handier happy with the outcome thanks

This bench top drill press is quite impressive. All the features; variable speed, laser crosshairs, adjustable stops, adjustable table and light work as expected. I’ve already completed several projects and have had no issues. I would recommend this unit for the hobby builder.

Solid piece of equipment
Putting it together was easy enough to do by myself. I installed the post into the base first and setting it on the floor allowed me to install the head piece with no problem. I was concerned about installing the chuck and getting it on straight but that too went on without a hitch. The chuck is accurately aligned with no wobble and I am really happy about that. It is reasonably quiet and works smoothly. I installed it on one end an old B&D workmate with a bench vice bolted to the other end and the whole thing mounted on locking caster wheels so I can move it about as needed. It seems to be a solid piece of equipment that should serve me well for years to come.

Laser is not the greatest
I had to adjust the laser after assembly but it's not the greatest laser. The light is bright and since I used Brad point bits the laser is not as important. Over all the drill press is a great value for the price and the variable speed adjustment is handy when drilling with larger Forstner Bits. The drill table is study and locks in place easy. I purchased the 12\" JET but the table did not lock and would move so had to return it. The 12\" Vevor is almost identical but cheaper. But it!
