This product was absolutely worth every penny. It cools exactly like it said in the description and is a damn good functioning product. The plastic latch/handle could be a little better built but even when that broke it still cooled effectively. It sealed even without the latch handle. I haven't tried the battery back up system that it does have yet, but when plugged in to either DC or AC it performs phenomenally.
The power consumption from this cooler on max power is far less than half of a mini refrigerator and has just as much space as one and cools/freezes as effectively as one. I'm actually thinking about buying a few of these to run in my home instead of a full size fridge believe it or not. That way I can just grab and go and just plug it in to the vehicle DC outlet. No more having to buy other products or move food products from the fridge to cooler. Just unplug, move, plug in to vehicle and go. Food packing for trips or camping made simple!
