Why do I have to change the water so often? When there is still water in it?

There is a "waste water" partition in the water tank. When the "water level" in the water tank is lower than the "minimum mark", the waste water level is already at the highest position, and the water must be changed. It is mainly to protect the "RO" filter element service life.

Works Well - Exceeds Expectations
I bought this unit to remove fluoride from my drinking water. Prior to my purchase, I spent several hours learning about reverse osmosis and comparing the various units that are available for sale online. This Vevor unit compares very favorably to the others, especially considering the price point. Some of the competitor units tout a higher pure to drain ratio as water \"saving\", but this just means that successively more concentrated waste water passes through the filters several times before being discarded. While this may save a few gallons of water on the front end, it shortens the filter life. This unit works very well and we are pleased with it. The only downside is that Vevor currently does not offer replacement filter cartridges for sale individually. I am hopeful that they become available before the initial set is due to be replaced (in about a year).

Good price is because replacement filters are unavailable
This water system filters water really fast, much faster than my Bluevua. It's very big too, I wish it was smaller, but it has 3 filters and a big water tank. But I'm guessing this is being sold at firesale prices and is being discontinued. I wrote the company about replacement filters and they don't have them which is terrible. If you want to replace the 3 filters, you need to replace the entire system which is a huge waste. I hope that changes but I doubt it.

Super Convenient with Good Results
As an apartment dweller I was always bummed out that I couldn't install a reverse osmosis system. Then I found the VEVOR! It was easy to set up - I chose to locate it near my sink so that it was easy to manage exchanging/refilling the water as needed. Set up took a little bit, but, after it was setup it was working flawlessly. The instructions mention that the best tasting water comes after a certain amount of water has been processed and this is true. Now I use it for making my coffee (good quality water = good taste) as well as for regular drinking and cooking purposes. I'm very happy.
