This product is very affordable for the quality of tent. I have had this tent for over a year now and I have camped in some windy and rainy locations and to my surprise, it held up like a charm! Very stable tent. The hooks do get caught in edges of my truck bed but they work, it does its job! Instructions were a bit confusing, there was no color coordination on the polls, so I had to figure that out myself, but once I did and had practice setting it up now it takes me 10 ish minutes to set up just the tent. Some material has ripped throughout the usage but it is not much to worry about. I feel very safe in it. It has two screens to close, one net like to let air in but keeps the bugs out and one for extra privacy. I brag about it all the time! It looks so cool on my truck too. I love it!!

The truck bed tent was easy to set up with 2 people. The fit to our 2009 gmc sierra 1500 was no perfect, but it worked well. I slept in it with a cot instead of the air mattress. I had plenty of room for my gear, clothing, and fan without issues. I used a 4’ stepladder for getting in and out. I had to careful in entering and exitin at night. Overall had a good experience with this product.

Would the 8x8 double layer fit a gmc Yukon?

If you mean the 8x8 SUV tent, i would think so if your rear door opens up. We have a CRV and it fits fine. You might have a problem if your rear door opens up too high as it will pull the floor of the tent off the ground.
