I'll start by saying that this was installed in my 24 Maverick Hybrid. Outside that, I have no knowledge. Everything went pretty well with the install. The extender fit without any mods to the size. I will warn you. Getting the nuts and washers on the bolts through the taillight holes is challenging. Also, creating the holes through the drop in bedliner to match the pre-drilled ones in the truck bed sheet metal wasn't easy. The design of the device (cutting length) allows for some modification if your heart desires but I tried to minimize that. I did add washers between the provided bolts and locknuts. As the width was reduced to pretty much the minimum allowable without cutting metal, I only used one of the two provided supports and centered it. I could've used 2 but they would have been very close to one another. I would say from opening the box to being done with all my crap put away, it took about 4 hours. Probably 90 minutes of that was consumed with drilling through the bed liner and securing the bolts to hold the latches. I am slow. It feels sturdy enough to me and I'm a bit OC. In comparison with other choices on Amazon, this one came out on top in balancing price and reviews. I should really write a disclaimer to attach to my reviews. I don't rate something as 5 stars if it meets expectations. It seems that alot of people do though. For me 3 stars is meeting expectations, 4 is better than expected, and 5 is a real stand-out. You can figure out how it would go the other way from that.
