The versatile of this tool is great. You can cut with the pole sections or just the blade with the handle attachment. It is not bulky to use and very easy to connect/disconnect the pole sections. In South Florida we have many fast growing plants and this tool makes maintenance easy. I will say I was going to purchase two other sets for two other properties, but with the new 2025 tariffs, the price has increased $15 US. I am going to hold off for now.

This thing will reach right up there and get the job done , Just use good sense when trying to lift it I found it best to lean it up against the tree and then add a section and then add another section until you get the height you need, cause if you put it all together on the ground Good luck with that even when fully extended up in the air you got to move slowly otherwise it will get out of control and gravity will take over Great Product at a Great Price, if your a DIY guy

Works well and very sharp saw blade. Looks like it should last for years to come. I put a little grease on the threads to make it easier to screw the sections together.

This Pole Saw works great but when all eight pieces are assembled it is definitely not lightweight. It's very heavy. I used it to trim seed pods from two 30' royal palm trees. I had to use all eight sections. It's so heavy in that configuration, you cannot pick it up simply by raising it off the ground while holding the "handle" section. I had to pick it up in the middle, balance it, then use a 10' step ladder to guide it up to the seed pods. It cut them with ease, which was great. However, when it's time to lower it back down to the ground the weight causes it to fall quickly with no way to stop it. Luckily for me I have hedges around the palm trees so it landed on those instead of simply crashing into the ground. I'm not sure it would have survived that. Anyway, just be aware that a length of 27' with a metal saw on the end is not going to be "lightweight" no matter what it's constructed of. I'm glad I bought it and would recommend it with that one caution.

If you need a longer pole saw, this works well. Put together in sections, you don't have to add any more length than is needed for the task at hand. It is a bit flexible at full length and requires some finesse to get going. If it were stiffer though, I'm sure the added weight would make it unusable for most people or too expensive if they used a lighter and stronger material. I recommend it.

Cuts great, packs up very small. If using the entire length you need to assemble vertically because it’s too difficult to lift from horizontal.

Finally put the pole saw together. Had bought specifically to trim some high branches. Very solid and pleased at the fiberglass construction. Because of the length, it was a bit difficult to handle at first but once you adjust to that, it was a very effect saw to cut those high branches. Blades are sharp and easily cut branches . Well worth the investment.

The first ad I saw for it was for forty eight dollars, the second time I looked the price went to seventy eight?? I Like the small pole sections, and how they go together, nice system. With only one Male threaded pole section, on a job its not to convenient. Having to unscrew one attachment, to install the other. That is why I ordered the other threaded part, which I didn't specify the Male threaded number three part, and you kindly sent the female threaded one. I hope the correct part is in my shipment due soon. Thank you Jon

Why is the trimmer 27 feet long but the rope for the scissors is only 11 feet long? Some trimming is above 11 feet but you can't use a saw on?

Your specs say in multiple places that the nylon cord is 11.5 feet yet in the answers to one of the previous questions you say it is ~22 feet. Which is accurate? Also, how much usable length is there on the cord after it is wrapped around the pulley system?
