Works well

I’ve built a dozen saunas for friends and families over the years. Both electric and wood-fired. This heater works just as well as the name brand stoves. In fact, this stove is near identical to the Finnleo stove, which I closely compares this stove to. When I looked closely at the hearing elements they have “Finnleo” stamped on them! Meaning this thing is likely made at the same Chinese factory as the stove you’re paying $1100 for. All said, the name brand ones probably have better QA/QC, but for a fifth of the price I can get by. Bottom line, the fit and finish were fine, the thing works as advertised, and I covered up the unsigntly VEVOR tools slogan (get rid of that Vevor) on the front by covering it with a small Finnish magnet flag.

Great Little Produce and Value for Money

This was a replacement heater for a sauna. I was originally skeptical buying it because of its value price. The product arrived quickly and was substantially the same quality of the higher end brand name that I was buying. Installation was easy and straight forward. The sauna heater heats up quickly and does a nice job of dissipating the heat. I am pleased that the controls are on the front and easy to access, as my sauna room is small. Many of the manufacturers are not thoughtful about where they place controls. The unit honestly looks and operates better than many higher end brands. I would not hesitate to purchase or recommend to others. The only slight drawback is that I do recommend that you run the sauna heater for several hours before actually using it and sitting in an enclosed space. The long story short is that you do need to cook off and season the unit and get some fumes to off-gas on first use. You would need to do this with any sauna heater, though.

Must be a scam right?

Bought this when My Harvia that I bought 4 or so years ago bit the dust. Was looking for another Harvia but so cost prohibitive to either fix or replace. A 4 KW Harvia was 650 to 900 bucks and in the process of looking this popped up at Amazon. I thiught its got to be a scam right. Well its not. I just wish I would have maybe bought the bigger one so it heated up a bit faster but this one works just fine. It may take a bit longer to get to the target setting by a few minutes but once its there its it works just fine. Even if it only lasts a couple years for that money its well worth it. Buy it if yours goes to crap which they all will in the end. But maybe buy the 6 KW if you actually need a 4.5 KW since its just a bit bigger and like 15 bucks more.

Heats my 4 person Sauna to 200 degrees

I just replaced a 15 year old unit that was only heating to 140 degrees. This unit is about 30 percent smaller and gets the sauna to 200 degrees. I got the controls on the front of the unit instead of the detscber so I could adjust it in the sauna. On initial use it did smoke and let off some smells. I opened all the windows and let it run at full temperature for a few hours and then it was clear. I have used it 3 times since and all were great. Wiring was simple just the 2 live wires and the ground. The rack on top is from my old unit and is not included. Also used the lava rocks from my old unit. It works great so far and I recommend itz it was hundreds less than any of the others I looked at. It was also easy to mount and I did it myself on. I highly recommend it, but I will update my review if it has issues.

This unit works as well as the several more expensive units I've bought in the past and that failed after an average of 5 years. It heats faster and allows water on the rocks for steam.
