Reviews varied some and I was hesitant. I am glad I bought this cord. It will require a little planning if your shop is cold, but if you need this, you probably are capable of planning. I bought a new welder and wanted some reach.If you are not sure - check your manual to determine what amperage circuit you need. This is more than adequate for my 190 amp welder. Check your equipment's plug to be sure you have the right cord for your device and your outlet, and you should be good. This cord will certainly carry enough current to cook you; contact an electrician if you are uncertain.
