Bought for my father in law a couple of months ago to use in his mechanic work. He said it has worked well, no problems with it.

Needed to drop the lower sub frame assembly to swap out upper oil pan. It held up the engine great, with no concerns during the process. The chains it comes with were too short for my needs (wanted to loop under engine mounts), so I had to use some other chains. Be sides that, great. Also used additional chains up top to ensure the bar did not shift forward or back. My vehicle did not have a lot of flat space up top to plant the legs and stabilize the bar, so I wanted to sure it up some more.

This is a great support bar for the money. No need to spend more unless you want to.

Shipment came on time, received package has tear and missing a bolt(for stand bracket) that unable to complete my work on same day. Moreover, thread hole in swivel part on one of the stand has a tiny debris bonded in (from welding I think) that prevent the hand knob tightening all the way down. Headed tool store to buy tapping tool to rethread the hole in order to safely use on engine bay. Other than these hassles, tool was great to support the engine.

The screw adjustment is shorter than expected. The pin for the large adjustment needs a detent or pin to hold it in place

Great stands! Easy to assemble and do the job they were bought to do. Are there better out there? Yes. Are these more than adequate for a home user with a lift? Absolutely.

A little crooked, but worth the money.
