Very comfortable and very sharp. My husband climbed and limbed quickly. I personally was nervous about the Velcro but he said as he climbed it seemed to get tighter. Very sturdy and worth the money! All the leather ones don't have enough cushion for his calves but these are perfect!

These were the most affordable pair of gaffs I could find, and man are they comfortable. They work great in the giant pines trees I have to cut. I am no professional, however with these I feel safe and confident while climbing in them. They have adjustments form 5'4" to about a 6'4" tall person. If I could give them more stars I would!

Good construction, it does the job without. Some extra effort. I love this climbing Spike Set. Recomended A++++
