Edit: I've used them on 10 jobs so far. They exceeded my expectations in every way but one, product material. I would still prefer to have leather straps and something other than Velcro that doesn't play well with Sunlight but they are definitely worth the money and much better than dropping $500 on a set. There are leather straps available if it bugs you like it bugs me.

First time I have ever used these things, but worked out well. Beats paying a tree cutting guy $100 per tree. Quite a workout, especially climbing down.

These are the best spikes out on the market for the money and on the product there comfortable and they work like a dream I just upgraded my belt and spikes noch equipment has yet to let me down and they surprise me with there ability to make there product meet my every need thank you guys for doing all the research u do to make my job easier and most importantly safer good job

Most affordable (heaviest) notch quality Spurs u can buy. Make sure to periodically check tightness of all bolts guys

These we a great fit to my son who is an arborist. He loves them. Says they are comfortable and he feels safe in them.

These have been great, with no concerns at all. A great fit for me, with narrow feet and big calves, the straps are tight and secure. Very comfortable and a great build.

Bought these to saddle hunt. First time to ever use gaffs and I absolutely love them. Very comfy and light weight. I did remove the Velcro and lower leather buckle and replaced with quick release strap/buckles. I needed it to be quiet. That Velcro is super loud. Only and issue if you hunt. In my pic you can see I also added some camo duct tape to reduce contact noise and help them blend a bit. Great gaffs doe a rookie!

I bought my hubby a pair of these spurs to help him clean up some of the trees in our yard. He doesn’t climb for a living so we have nothing to compare them to but I can say that he liked them a lot! They were super easy to use, comfortable, and built well! I know we read that the Velcro wasn’t very desirable and we can see that being a thing but he doesn’t do it everyday so I don’t think that will be an issue for us...it’s good to know you can change out the way they attach if it does become an issue though. The Velcro is extremely strong and he honestly kinda likes it (at least for now) Overall we’d have to say these are a great pair of climbing spurs, totally worth the money!

The customer service is top notch! When the climbers didn’t arrive, even though the FedEx said they were delivered, the customer service representatives were willing to work with us. Luckily the climbers arrived 1 week after they said they were delivered, but I was really impressed with their responsiveness.

I was going back and forth about getting either the aluminum gaffs or the steel ones. I don't climb super often but still wanted something that was comfortable and going to hold up. I decided on the steel ones and they work great! I don't think they are heavy at all and they work really well!
