the screw on plate at the bottom made it easy to drill properly sized holes. I used mine for a solar gate opening system. The door seal made it completely water tight.

Ordered 3 units, 1 wk delivery, HD Construction, great Door, weather Seal, lock and 2 keys. Perfect Powder Paint job. missing a few self-threading screws for cover but not a big deal. These are awesome units, a bit pricey but worth it. I bought these to store 3 HD 12 Ga 100 ft Extension Cords next to my new 24KV Generac in case of extended power outage to help my neighbors preserve food stuffs and provide some power for 911 lighting. I installed 2 unrepentantly controlled GFI Duplex outlets nearby with 20 AMP Breakers in Power Panel. These accessible Boxes serve to protect those cords from the weather long term. Makes us feel good to provide these in a 911 setting for neighbors and children. These Boxes are the icing on the cake. Rocky in Missouri

Sturdy and excellent quality for my project

Seems like an OK box - I haven't put it to use yet so time will tell.No instructions and a machine screw was missing from a plastic package that had been opened. My gripe is that the interior dimensions are not the actual usable size of the space, due to 3 things. One is that the back plate mounting bolt holes are dimpled to the interior. So you lose about a quarter inch to that. Two is that there is a grounding stud welded to the inside of the case, and it projects into the space. Three is that the hinge bolts and nuts project into the space slightly.If space is not critical, you won't notice or care about any of these. For my use I have a battery that I am fitting into the box and the dimensions are critical. I had to remove the back plate, flip the bolts, change the door hinge side so the ground stud was at the top not bottom and then grind down the projecting hinge bolts. And make a trip to the store to buy the machine screw that was missing from the package.

My enclosure (20x16x8) arrived with about a half inch of the finish chipped off in one corner. The door doesn't fit tight when "locked". The latch will have to be adjusted so that the door fits tight enough for the weather seal to have any effect. Other than that is ok. Not great, but ok.

High-quality outdoor steel NEMA enclosure. Proved to be too large for my application. So, returned this one and bought the 12" x 10" x 6" version of same product. Easy Amazon return!

This enclosure is well made and very reasonably priced!

We had mini split system with multiple heads installed in our home. However the company that we bought it from does not make a branch box enclosure to allow you to not mount it under the house. However I used this box and some metal drill bits to make a box that would hold the branch box And protect it from the elements. Well worth the money! Super quick shipping
