Very useful
I'm almost 80th. I installed this product on the roof, and I no longer have to sweep the snow. It's very practical.

Snow Melting Mat
There is snow all year round near my house in winter, and it is very inconvenient to travel every year. My dad and children stay at home almost all winter. Every year my husband and I have to clear the snow by myselif, which is exhausted and difficult. After a friend recommended this snow melting mat to me, it really solved my big problem. Instead of shoveling the snow yourself, just place the snowmelt mat on the floor and power it up.We can sit and drink some coffee and wait for the snow to melt.

Incredible quality products
This Snow Melting Mat is excellent value for money and the snow has been swept away from our yard. Very perfect! We plan to buy another one again!

Highly Recommend These Stair Mats
Skip the shovels with the HeatTrak HR10-30 Residential Snow-Melting Stair Mat. Sold individually, these HeatTrak stair mats are designed to be placed on your outdoor exposed steps during the winter time to melt snow and ice that has accumulated on those stairs. The mats plug into each other and ultimately into a standard US 120V outlet. These steps are ten inches wide by 30 inches long, providing ample coverage for any set of stairs that you may have. These mats are made of a plastic material and can melt up to two inches per hour of snow/ice accumulation. These mats can be used on any type of outdoor steps including concrete and wood steps.

A definite winter winner
we live in an area that gets lots of snow...90+ last winter. We have a large deck that opens to our living room and we've got 4 dogs that like to track in snow. We let them stand on the mats for a few minutes and their little feet are snow free when they come in. These mats kept up during 2 blizzards (12 and 16 inch snowfalls) last season. I've also installed a step mat for the back steps for when my wife goes out to smoke as it keeps her toes warm as well as eliminates any chance of slipping off the steps due to ice and snow.

Keeps the stair clear of snow
Good price, well packaged, arrived on time, works like a charm. Plugs into three larger mats on the deck that I previously purchased. Wife wants five more of the larger matts for a stone walkway, unfortunately we were on vacation when they were on sale, but I'm going to order them anyway - full price is worth it.

Just wonder why I didn't do this sooner...
Our home, in winter, has a problem area and for years we would shovel it (if we knew someone was coming over) or sand/salt it. The front steps and walkway are in a perennially shady spot in winter - so any significant snow / ice isn't going anywhere unless you intervene. I was also looking for a good solution that didn't require eternal vigilance - and at the same time - would enhance pedestrian safety when at our house. I bought some of these mats to try out, just covering the steps for right now - yesterday afternoon I laid them out on top of the snow/ice and this morning - all the snow/ice beneath the mats has melted. Next I plan to get two longer mats for the walkway from the driveway to the steps and call it done. So far so good!

Good for the job
I am 74 and I found it very dangerous stepping down two steps to get to the ground in the winter. Ice constantly formed on the cement steps. These mats do the trick. They leave a nice area to step into which is ice free. I bought one to begin with to see if it worked, and then I bought another one for the second step. These are the smallest mats. I would have bought the next size larger, but they were too wide for my steps. They plug in easily and that is that. Remember though, you have to buy the cord to go into the outside outlet separately. I am very very pleased with them. My cat likes to sit on them too.

Excellent
I have stamped, sealed concrete going up to my front porch. I didn't want to damage it with salt when it gets slick. These are an investment but we were immediately happy we got them. Be warned that if if have multiples you will need to buy their connector cord. Our church has them outside on their steps and walkways too so nobody has to shovel.

safety first
I bought Heat Ttrak snow melting stair treads about 10 years ago for my back stone porch. Being on the north side of the house the three steps and landing do not melt so quickly and very dangerous with ice. I don't have mats to cover all the porch just where needed. I leave them on when I know snow is coming and they are always melted allowing our dogs to go down the steps if I didn't shovel yet. I bought three more treads because the one wasn't working so I'll keep the others as backup or hook them together to cover more surface.
