Makes removing tile or glued down wood flooring so easy and fast. I also used it to remove some tiles from around our gas fireplace. The tool did fine. The only caveat is be careful when using on wall tile as it is easy to damage the backer.
I needed a long chisel than the one included in my SDS hammer drill and this one is the same size head but a long shank. As with other Bosch items, you immediately see the quality construction and heavy use of this tool didn't blunt it a bit.
I am a tile contractor and bought this to work with my Makita power scraper. I am extremely pleased with this chisel. It works like magic with my power scraper. It's excellent for getting under the tiles and most times I can get the tiles up without even breaking them.
I used this bit to take an epoxy/pebble coating of the concrete. It does well, but the stones do dull the blade. It can be resharpened with grinder and will work as well.
Coupled with Bosch rotary hammer dill, this bit works great to chisel out mortar left from tiles. It also works great to break concrete slab (in small piece though).
