I just replaced a 15 year old unit that was only heating to 140 degrees. This unit is about 30 percent smaller and gets the sauna to 200 degrees. I got the controls on the front of the unit instead of the detscber so I could adjust it in the sauna. On initial use it did smoke and let off some smells. I opened all the windows and let it run at full temperature for a few hours and then it was clear. I have used it 3 times since and all were great. Wiring was simple just the 2 live wires and the ground. The rack on top is from my old unit and is not included. Also used the lava rocks from my old unit. It works great so far and I recommend itz it was hundreds less than any of the others I looked at. It was also easy to mount and I did it myself on. I highly recommend it, but I will update my review if it has issues.

This unit works as well as the several more expensive units I've bought in the past and that failed after an average of 5 years. It heats faster and allows water on the rocks for steam.

Price was great! First time I fired it up there was a LOT of chemical smell, even felt it in my lungs. Took 3-4 times of cycling it over a couple days to burn off the manufacturing soot but is fine now. Heats fast and HOT! Not a lot of features, just on/off and a timer but for the price it's great.

This product was noticeably less expensive than other heaters it’s size and power output. It arrived quickly, was easy to install with their instructions, and we use it in our sauna several times a week for the last five months. It heats up quickly and we have not had any issues.

I love the heater but just recently it started to trip the breaker when it starts coming to the right temperature

I wired this to a premade NEMA 6-30 plug that I ordered on Amazon since I already had a NEMA 6-30 receptacle. I drilled a ventilation hole with a 3” diameter underneath it, and another one diagonal to that on the opposite wall below the bench with a 4” diameter, per the instructions. I also bought 30 pounds of sauna rocks and put those on it. I framed the area behind it to support it and to provide sufficient clearance. The manual specified all the necessary distances required from the wall and floor. I’m metric challenged and had to convert it to inches. All told this does a great job of heating the sauna. It takes about 30 minutes to heat my sauna up to 200 degrees. It’s easy to use and install, just make sure to read the instruction manual a few times before installing.

In short story, the item is not top quality. However, I have had it for 1 month now installed, the system functions amazingly m. For this price, I am so happy. I did have some issues with electrical screws (jammed) they were very helpful and satisfied. Long story short, for 1-2 seasons of using this product makes it worth it. Compared to spending 1k. Sauna heater is easily changeable so that is one item I felt like I can go cheap on. Just get good quality stones, I used granite by harvia

After about a week of use, it works great. I wired it up using an electric clothes dryer extension cord and plug it into an unused 220V electric dryer socket. I could have done without the 'Tough Tools, Half Price' slogan right on the front, but maybe I'll cover that when I get around to finishing the guard around the heater. Overall, though, a great deal. Using this unit, I built a free-standing 2-person basement sauna for less than the price of a name brand Finnish heater alone.

For the money, this is a fantastic heater. I paid 10 times more for the fancy Swedish heater I bought 22 years ago. This one does everything it's supposed to for an unbelievable price!!
